Hi, I’m Jamie Barnard.
I have been a licensed REALTOR® since 1997 and am proud to be a San Marcos native. Real estate has always been part of my life. I grew up in a family of Realtors, and my father, Joel Barnard, owned brokerages in San Marcos for more than 40 years.
After graduating from Texas Tech University in 1994, I moved to Austin and began my real estate career with Moreland Properties. Following 12 years in the Central Austin market, I was ready to return to the Hill Country and enjoy a slower pace of life. For the past 13 years, I have split my time between San Marcos and Wimberley, working in real estate while also owning and operating Red Dawg Hot Yoga in San Marcos. Although the studio closed during the COVID-19 pandemic, I continue to teach and practice hot yoga at Wild Rice Studio in San Marcos.
Throughout the years, I have kept my real estate license active and maintained a large and ever-growing network of clients, friends, and referral partners throughout the community. Real estate is a passion that has always been part of my daily life, and it’s a conversation that never seems to end with family and friends.
Whether I’m helping a first-time homebuyer navigate the market, assisting a family with their next move, or helping someone find the perfect Hill Country retreat, I am committed to providing personalized service, local expertise, and a smooth transaction from start to finish. My goal is always to help my clients make confident decisions while achieving the best possible outcome.
My husband, Dave Percefull, a music producer, engineer, and founder of Yellow DOG Studios in San Marcos, and I live in the historic district of San Marcos. We enjoy spending time on the river, riding bikes, listening to vinyl records, and gathering with family and friends. In my spare time, I continue to teach and practice yoga, and I am also a painter.
